Dogs Homes of Tasmania
Our foster care program was launched in July 2010 but we have been in
operation for the past 60 years. We operate pound facilities and also
rehoming centres at Burnie, Devonport and Hobart in Tasmania. We currently
receive around 5000 dogs per year and our foster program allows us to
provide dogs who are recovering from surgery, experience kennel stress or
need extra socialisation opportunities to be placed in care to have their
needs met before being placed for adoption.
